I’m not really a cat person myself but they are fascinating creatures. If you’re interested in the history of how cats became domesticated you can check out this site: Origins of the Domestic Cat.
It often seems to me that cats feel they are superior to pretty much every living thing, including humans. Who knows…they may very well be!
